ICQ obtained a Type 2 Medical Device Marketing Authorization Holder licence (No. 13B2X10671) and a Medical Device Manufacturer registration (No. 13BZ202040) from the Governor of Tokyo. As a marketing authorization holder, ICQ now carries responsibility for the quality and safety of the medical devices it places on the Japanese market.

ICQ received a grant decision from the Tokyo Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprise Support Center under the 21st Medical Device Industry Entry Support Programme (development start-up support). The project period ran from 1 October 2025 to 30 September 2026. Over the past year, ICQ worked on the design of a prototype and on safety evaluation by a third-party body.
